EHS Data Limited is a UK based company, with clients using our
systems worldwide. We provide software systems to manage
Environmental, Health and Safety Data.
We began looking at the problem of managing environmental data
as geoenvironmental consultants back in the mid ninties. At that
time we, and our clients, were needing to manage environmental data
and struggling with spreadsheet packages and other home-made
systems. Driven by this need we developed our first software tool
in 1996 and soon after, Monitor-Pro Limited was born.
The company grew rapidly and our systems quickly became the
tools of choice in the UK waste management industry. Monitor Pro
Limited was then bought by AEA Technology plc in 2000, and there
followed a period of significant investment, particularly in the
development of MP-5. In 2006 the company became independant again
as EHS Data Ltd, which is the name we trade under today. Many of
our customers however know the name Monitor Pro well and so we have
kept that as the brand name of our products
Throughout our history we have worked with our customers aiming to
develop practical tools which help them meet the ever changing
requirement to manage and report on Environment, Health and Safety
Data.
We don't "just sell software".. EHS Data works with our clients
to review their whole data management lifecycle, and configure
Monitor-Pro to meet individual client requirements. This
collaborative approach ensures business processes are optimised and
value delivered. Today we provide off-the shelf products as well as
a bespoke software development service.
Our goal is to deliver solutions which can be rapidly configured;
are intuitive and easy to use; integrate seamlessly with all
equipment and incoming data files; and scale easily across new
functionality, additional users and complex organisational
structures.
The technical strength of our company is at the heart of the
business. Our team is highly effective, with many years of
experience in all areas of environmental, health and safety
management.
We have specialist web and client/server developers, a report
design consultant and three senior data management consultants.
A major role of Monitor-Pro is to reduce environmental impacts
and emissions. As developers of the system, we also aim to
keep our own impacts to the minimum practically possible. As
examples of this we operate a paper free policy, work from home
whenever practical, and conduct demonstrations and training across
the web whenever this is an option.
