Born: 29-May-1846

Henry was the youngest child of Thomas ROBINSON (1801-81) & Ellen WARDLE (1807-77). He christened at Upperhulme, Leek Frith on 29/5/1846 and married Hannah WILLIAMS (b 1850) of Canarvon, Wales on 11/11/1872 at Toxteth Park, Lancs. Thomas was my great great grandfather John ROBINSON's (1802-53) oldest brother. It is my understanding that Windy Gates Farm was owned by John and Thomas' younger brother William ROBINSON (1809-86) and your Thomas lived at Neilds and Thorney Leigh, Leek Frith. Thomas was a labourer and part time farmer. The brothers' parents names were John Faulkner ROBINSON (1759-1850) and Sarah WHITE 1776-1822) of Blackshaws Moor Farm, Leek Frith, Staffordshire. John senior was born illegitimite. I am very keen to find out more about your Henry and his family as I don't have much on them. E Mail me on webb@netconnect.com.au
